Online Art Resources
Monterey Museum of Art is more committed than ever to being a collaborative center where art and community engage. In the light of COVID-19 precautions, we are now focusing our efforts on digital outreach. Follow us on social media @montereyart and our new hashtag #virtualmma for weekly highlights from our permanent collection, behind the scenes looks at our special exhibitions, and activities and educational information to create and learn about art from the safety of your home.
Because of our commitment at Monterey Museum of Art to artists of all ages, we created Remote Art Days (RAD) to give teachers, students, and all creatives art projects that they can do at home. Each Monday, we will post new lesson plans and projects on our social media. In addition, each Thursday, we will highlight projects and lesson plans that other artists in our community submit. For those who just can’t get enough art, we are continually updating the list of online resources below. If you have a great resource to add, let us know by emailing us at education@montereyart.org.
